Shore in Asia

Shore, an independent company within PostNL Data & Document Management, is currently the largest data-entry employer in Vietnam and also operates in the Philippines. For both countries Shore video codes over 220 million illegible postcodes and addresses on letters each year.

Mario Suykerbuyk, Managing Director of Shore: "We initially selected these locations in Asia due to their processing speed, flexibility and scalability, as well as the high level of quality being offered. Cost considerations also played a key role in the decision. We especially benefited from the scalability and flexibility in December, traditionally our busiest time of year, with a staggering 500,000 mail items being digitised every hour - a phenomenal performance!"
